Getting around.

Cars are handy tools on South Padre Island. Parking and traffic isn�t that bad during off-peak times. It can be a problem during spring break, but there�s always a spot to park. There�s a free bus service called �The Wave� and runs from 7:00am - 7:00pm.

Beach Fun!

Fly a kite, lay out, tan, build a sandcastle, or just enjoy the waves. You can walk the beach or even ride a horse. Grab some friends and take a dolphin watch tour.

Yes, South Padre has a year-round indoor heated water park. It features over 60 foot waterfalls, wave rivers, water slides, and a giant heated pool that serves swim up refreshments.
